I completely agree with this author that actual physical engagement amongst people is much more effective than virtual. Even though virtual communication is the big thing in the 21st century, I personally feel that it hinders the effectiveness of quality relationships and relationships that also have that potential of being positive.
I think there's good reason to believe that online interaction enhances in person interaction, and vice versa.

i agree mostly, but there is some need for the virtual as you might agree. But the tool that comes to mind for me are dating sites, such as match.com who take the fun out of dating altogether. These sites promote people to stay indoors and socialize, which I don't necessarily agree with. However, these sites are useful for others who have tried time and time again and haven't had any luck or even elderly people...
